The Artemia cysts containing Berberis, suppressing bacterial bloom in the hatching medium.
HIGH 5 Artemia is an innovative concept in which selected Artemia strains are subjected to INVE Aquaculture's proprietary technology that applies plant extracts (Berberis sp.) that have known action against Vibrio. Added advantage is that the Artemia hatching water, which usually runs through the shellfish hatchery after the hatching process, is not infected with these Vibrio, thus vastly reducing the risk of further contamination.
When hatching the HIGH 5 cysts, the growth of pathogenic bacteria is continuously suppressed in the hatching medium, guaranteeing:

High nauplii dry weight (up to 20% higherthan GSL Artemia)

These GSL Artemia cysts have been treated with our innovative, patented technology SEP-Art. This is not a new cyst strain, but a magnetic coating on the GSL cysts which allows a feature unique in the aquaculture industry: complete and perfect separation of the nauplii by means of a set of passive magnets. The magnetic coating is 100% safe and environmentally friendly.
